Cancellation Policy

Month-to-Month Membership Cancellations:

Members with a month-to-month membership type may cancel for any reason by submitting a written termination request via certified mail or by completing the electronic form below. A minimum of 30-days’ advance notice is required for termination of month-to-month memberships. The final payment will be a full month’s dues and the official termination date will be the final day of that billing month. Any unpaid balance on the member’s account must be paid in full prior to termination.

CANCELLATION
1.   CONSUMER’S RIGHT TO CANCELLATION. YOU MAY CANCEL THIS CONTRACT WITHOUT ANY PENALTY OR FURTHER OBLIGATION BY CAUSING A WRITTEN NOTICE OF YOUR CANCELLATION TO BE DELIVERED IN PERSON OR POSTMARKED BY CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED UNITED STATES MAIL WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS OF THE DATE OF THIS CONTRACT OR THE DATE OF YOUR RECEIPT TO THE ADDRESS SPECIFIED IN THIS CONTRACT.  Notice of cancellation must be in writing subscribed by you and mailed by registered or certified mail to the Club at 560 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118 or emailed to the Club at info@sowahealthandwellness.com. Such notice shall be accompanied by the contract forms, membership cards and any other documents of evidence of membership previously delivered to you. All monies paid pursuant to such contract shall be refunded within fifteen business days of receipt of such notice of cancellation. If you executed any credit or loan agreement to pay for all or part of Club services, any such negotiable instrument executed by you shall also be returned within fifteen days.
 
2.  ADDITIONAL RIGHT TO CANCEL. A member may cancel their month-to-month membership by providing a written notice of cancellation at least 31 days prior to the next billing date. The cancellation notice must be submitted in writing to SoWa Health and Wellness through email or via the Clubs online cancellation database.
 
Upon receipt of the cancellation notice, the membership will remain active until the final day of the month following the month in which the cancellation occurred. The member will not be billed beyond the 31-day notice period, provided that the notice was submitted within the required timeframe. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial months.
If the cancellation notice is submitted less than 31 days prior to the next billing date, the member will be billed for the subsequent month, and the membership will be canceled at the end of the next billing cycle.

Example: If you need to cancel and not be charged for September 1, you need to let us know in writing no later than July 31. August 1 would be your final payment and your membership would expire on August 31.
