Erica is a highly skilled and dedicated Pilates instructor with over eight years of teaching experience and a strong foundation in the classical method. Before becoming a Pilates instructor, Erica spent over 15 years teaching both amateur and professional dancers, cultivating a deep understanding of movement, alignment, and body awareness.
After suffering a low back injury from dance, Erica took a Pilates class and was immediately hooked—signing up for comprehensive training the very next day. Since then, they have been pain-free for over a decade. This personal transformation inspired a lifelong commitment to helping others move without pain and unlock their full physical potential.
Erica completed a rigorous 500-hour certification on classical Gratz equipment and trained for three years under mentors who studied directly with Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates’ protégé. This lineage has deeply informed Erica’s teaching, emphasizing precision, control, and a profound respect for the classical system.
Throughout their career, Erica has trained athletes, celebrities, and CEOs, and works closely with doctors, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists to rehabilitate clients from injury. Whether working with elite performers or individuals rebuilding strength, Erica tailors each session to meet the client’s unique goals and needs.
Currently pursuing the Franklin Method—a comprehensive five-year program integrating dynamic imagery, biomechanics, and embodiment—Erica continually expands their education, with a special focus on anatomy and functional movement. This dedication to learning ensures their teaching remains both rooted in tradition and informed by the latest movement science.
