Class Cancellation/No-Show Policy
To help ensure fair access to classes and support a smooth experience for all members, we’re introducing an updated Class Cancellation & No-Show Policy at SoWa Health + Wellness beginning January 1, 2026. This adjustment will help keep classes running efficiently, reduce unused spots, and make scheduling easier for both members and instructors.
Why We’re Making This Change
- Prevents last-minute no-shows from taking a spot another member could have used
- Allows the instructor to plan effectively
Here’s How the Policy Works
Cancellation Window
- You can cancel without penalty up to 2 hours before class starts.
- If you cancel within 2 hours – or don’t show up – a $10 fee will apply.
Waitlist Rules
- If you’re on the waitlist and are added to class within 2 hours, the same $10 late-cancel/no-show policy applies.
- If you’re still on the waitlist within 2 hours, you may remove yourself with no penalty.
Important Details
- Applies to all members and to all classes, including specialty and one-off classes
- No exceptions for waitlist notifications – members are responsible for monitoring their status, especially inside the 2-hour window
- No retroactive credit holds or backdated cancellations
- Two courtesy waivers per calendar year
- Policy applies across all booking methods: through the app, at the front desk, or if a staff member books on your behalf
